TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER- TEXTILE CHEMICAL
Job Summary: The role of Technical Sales Representative at Adinath Auxi Chem Industry involves meeting clients regularly and assist in trials of Adinath's products at the client's Textile plant. Responsibilities and Duties: The following are the responsibilities and duties of a Technical Sales Representative:
Education:
- Achieve or exceed the sales plan according to Business Strategy.
- Build, develop and maintain good customer relationship.
- Manage relationships to Adinath's and customer’s mutual advantage
- Search for, recognize, and act upon sales opportunities that contribute to Net Margin development and improvement according to the business strategy
- Manage the receivables. Visit customer frequently in order to meet customer needs and capture potential market.
- Manage first-line response on technical inquiries from customers.
- Manage pricing to maximize margins while retaining wanted business.
- Provide 0 – 6 month forecast on a monthly basis
- Anticipate commercial issues e.g. market news, a competitive activity that impact delivery of the agreed plan, and recommend actions to enhance Adinath's market position.
- Maintain a close liaison with the Technical specialist/master to be fully aware of any ongoing technical issues, which may affect the commercial situation.
- Prepare reports on all visits to customers and present monthly reports to management, detailing selling efforts, customer relationships, competitive activity and strategies, customer service issues, etc. Involves travelling to multiple cities in India to expand the market.
- Find potential distributors/dealers in other Indian cities and liaison with them on a regular basis.
- Assist in developing new products and ensure their trial with existing customers.
- Close new accounts by answering telephones, mails, visits etc.
Education:
- University degree in Textiles (Preferably in Textile Chemistry)
- PGDM/MBA in Marketing are preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Textile Chemicals marketing and good contact with technical persons.
- Know-how/skills: Domain knowledge in the technology (Machine and processes) and good understanding of the market and customer needs with good communication skills.
- A bike will be provided for local travel along with fuel paid by the company.
